The growth of a family, the identity of a brand.
The Origins
In 1956, in Rossano Veneto, Attilio Ferronato designed and crafted the first coffins together with his cousin Luciano Zen. From a small barn converted into a workshop, a journey began that, sixty years later, continues to be preserved by the Ferronato family. Attilio's hands shaped the first models, built with artisan dedication and respect for the material. In a region where woodworking is a widespread tradition, the workshop grew rapidly, consolidating its reputation for quality and attention to detail.
The Journey
Over the years, production specialized in the exclusive creation of premium coffins, intended for funeral homes that recognize Ferronato as a mark of reliability and distinction. Guided by the founder's insights and the family's constant commitment, the company evolved in structure and expertise. In 2018, the torch passed entirely to Maurizio Ferronato and his sons Marco and Alessandro, who continue the business by introducing advanced technologies, a new production organization, and modern management practices, while keeping intact the work culture passed down by Attilio.
The Vision
Today Ferronato is a company that combines experience and innovation, faithful to the original idea of creating quality products that honor the natural beauty of wood. Each board is selected and worked with the awareness that wood is a living material: observed, studied, caressed to understand the grain, knots, and unique nuances of each species. This passion, developed over nearly seventy years of history, continues to guide the company's evolution—from artisan tradition to the most advanced technologies—in respect of the craft and the natural beauty that accompanies every Ferronato creation.
